The Slide Transfer & Rebroadcast System (STRS) isdeveloped by Medcon. It is an IT solutiondedicated for slidetransferring, recording and rebroadcastingmanagement among large scale conferences with multiple meeting rooms and speakers. It is an integration of programmemanagement with network and multimedia rebroadcast technology. It enablesyou to upload and convert the format of the slides and allocate the slides to proper parallel meeting rooms. What’s more, it makesthe programmeupdating, slides broadcasting, timing, and video recording and rebroadcasting easier. It is an innovation for improving the onsite management efficiency and standards of large-scale academicconferences.

■ Speaker Service andBiography and Photography Management

There is a speakers ready room where we greet the speakers and assist them for photography, biography uploading and slides authorization. Speakers can search by dates, meeting rooms and names and print their own agenda. Staff can print the speakers and moderators place cards according to the meeting room allocation.

■ Slide Handling and Management

Slides can be converted, uploaded and previewed as a uniformed format via the system. The system iscompatible with Chinese-English Bilingual and documents with ppt, pptx and pdf format and slides attached with multimedia video. It provides Mac format convert and supports video format handling and real-time preview such as AVI、WMV、MPG 、MPEG、FLV、MP4、SWF.

■ Synchronous Slides Transfer

The system enables both single slides and slides with a video folder transfer between the speaker ready room and the meeting rooms. Without a USB and staff, the system transfers the slides among meeting rooms synchronously.

■ Slide Player with Countdown Timer

The screen displays the programme in each meeting room. Speakers and staff can start or stop playing the slides via the system. Each presentation time is preset in the system according to the programme, and once the presenter’s time is running out, the system will stop playing the slides. What’s more, the system enables the insertion of announcement or video during the interval, so as to make the schedule under control and running smoothly.

■ Slides and Video Real-Time Broadcasting

There is a screen located at the entrance of each meeting room. On the screen, the current program, the speaker’s photo, name, institution, and the real-time progress is displayed and the speaker’s audio or video is also broadcasted and recorded.
